Experimental workplace

We are a company that thinks ahead of time, therefore we invest a significant amount of profit into the ongoing security development of our own systems. Our long-term strategy is to transfer the results of our research projects to practice and thus to our customers.

High-speed network filtering of DDoS attacks

We have teamed up with experts from VUT to implement the project of high-speed network filtration of DDoS attack. This gives us access to state-of-the-art measuring and testing devices (such as Spirent Avalanche) and the ability to test the results of our development in an environment of superior quality with absolute technical parameters. Researchers from the academic sphere bring an unbiased view of the issue to the project along with top testing tools. Thus, the effective synergy between the commercial and academic spheres exists. The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic also took on the importance of the project and supported the whole project. The result of the project will be a comprehensive product for companies such as Nethost, enabling a flexible, financially progressive way of protecting against DDoS attacks. These are currently an increasingly topical issue in terms of availability and, above all, the security of information systems. The whole project is also pushing us forward in means of our R&D, which we then apply to other internal developments.

Access to professional network and load testers has significantly advanced us in developing our own solution for Load Testing, DDoS protection resilience testing and simulated implementation of combined attacks. More than three years of intensive research in this area will lead in 1Q / 2020 to the introduction of our own solution of high-speed DDoS attack filtering.
