The expiration period begins 90 days before the expiration date of the domain, when the domain enters our „expirator“ system. During this period, the customer is repeatedly informed about the expiration by email. After this time, most domains can be renewed, but the registrar may charge a redemption period. We do not recommend waiting for the domain to expire before renewing it.
Domain protection period is 60 days. After the expiration date, the domain is operational for another 30 days. It is then deactivated and permanently deleted after 30 days.
The domain protection period is 40 days and is deactivated immediately after expiration. After 14 days from expiration, the domain loses its registrar. It is deleted after the expiration of the protection period.
The protection period (quarantine) of the domain is 40 days and is deactivated immediately after expiration. It is deleted after the expiration of the protection period.
A fee of 48 € without VAT is charged for the renewal of a .EU domain from quarantine.
The protection period (TRANSIT) of the domain is 28 days. Recovery in this state is possible only on the basis of the auth-info code obtained from the DENIC website using a password, which they will send to the owner by mail. It is deleted after the expiration of the protection period.
The domain protection period is 24 days after expiration. This is followed by a Redemption Grace Period of 36 days, when the domain can still be renewed. After this phase, the domain enters the pending delete state for 5 days, when it is deleted.
A fee of 140 € without VAT is charged for the renewal of the CORE domain after expiration (protection period and RGP).
